If you test positive for COVID-19, it is strongly recommended that you stay home until symptoms have gone and take steps to reduce the spread of the virus.
You may be infectious for up to 10 days. You are most infectious in the 2 days before symptoms start and while you have symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, cough and fever.

Stay up to date on recommended COVID-19 vaccinations
It is possible to get COVID-19 more than once. Vaccination increases your protection. It is safe to receive a COVID-19 vaccine as recommended, even if you have recently recovered from COVID-19.
The Australian Government provides further detail about vaccination after a COVID-19 infection. Speak to your doctor or immunisation provider to discuss your COVID-19 vaccination options.
