Cooking method:

  1. Peel pears, cut in half and remove cores.
  2. Fill each half with reduced fat ricotta cheese and carefully place pear halves together and stand on a bed of lettuce.
  3. Cover with mayonnaise, seasoned with creamed horseradish sauce or wasabi (Japanese horseradish).
  4. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and serve.
