Children’s Health and Wellbeing Locals provide easy access to health and wellbeing support for children and their families and carers.
The services support children aged zero to 11 years of age who may be experiencing developmental, emotional, relational and behavioural challenges, while also providing support to their families and carers.
You can get advice and support from a range of health professionals who specialise in infant and child development, behaviour and relationships, including:
If you are concerned about your child’s development or wellbeing, and you live outside the above service areas, please contact your local general practitioner or Maternal and Child Health Service, who can provide a referral to a local hospital or community health service offering paediatric care in your local area.
Crisis support
Children’s Health and Wellbeing Locals are not crisis services.
