Ingredients:

Cooking method:

  1. Pre-heat oven at 180°C/350°F.
  2. Pour boiling water over burghul, cover and leave to stand for 10 minutes. (Water will be absorbed.)
  3. In a food processor, combine lamb, onion, mint, cinnamon and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Add burghul, mixing until well-combined, adding a little water if necessary.
  5. Make mixture into balls and press these into greased non-stick patty pan.
  6. Press some pine nuts onto the top of each.
  7. Bake in a moderate oven (180°C/350°F) for 25 minutes.

 Serving Suggestions: Wrap kibbi in pita bread with shredded lettuce, tabouli and a dollop of natural yoghurt.
