Description

The 15 Centres Against Sexual Assault (CASAs) that are spread throughout Victoria support women, men and young people who have been sexually assaulted. They also support non-offending family members, partners and friends. CASAs and the Sexual Assault Crisis Line give access to confidential telephone counselling, support and referral 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Eligibility

Anyone in Victoria who has been sexually assaulted, as well as non-offending family members, partners and friends.

The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) is available (24 hours, 7 days) for callers who speak other languages. Call 131 450.

The National Relay Service (NRS) is available to help callers with a hearing or speech impairment. For:

Hours

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

During business hours your call to the Sexual Assault Crisis Line will divert to your local CASA. From 5.00 pm to 9.00 am on weeknights and on weekends, the Sexual Assault Crisis Line offers telephone crisis support and counselling.

Costs

Calls are free from landlines.

Calls from mobile phones may be charged at a higher rate. Ask the counsellor to return your call.
