The Self Help Addiction Resource Centre (SHARC) delivers peer based programs to people to help themselves to recover from addiction, and to achieve lives that are meaningful and satisfying, and that contribute to their community.
SHARC also provides support for families and friends of people affected by addiction.

Residential Peer Programs
Recovery Support Services program – for young people aged 16– 25 years who want to recover from severe addiction-related problems. Further eligibility information can be found on the SHARC website.
US Women's House – women over 26 years who want to recover from alcohol and other drug issues. Further eligibility information can be found on the SHARC website.
Oxford Houses – for women and men who want to recover from alcohol and other drug issues. People on drug replacement therapy (such as methadone and buprenorphine) are not eligible for the service. Further eligibility information can be found the SHARC website.
