Better Health Channel

Interchange is a member organisation for agencies involved in providing family respite and social activities for children and young people with a disability. All programs and services are designed to provide social opportunities, development of life skills, friendship and support in a fun, supported and safe environment. The programs can be individual or group-based.

Calls are charged at the cost of a local call from any fixed landline.
Calls from mobile phones may be charged at a higher rate. 
Costs of individual programs are available from each agency.





  • Interchange needs volunteers to get involved with the many programs it has on offer.
  • There are more than 1,000 families on Interchange’s waiting lists to receive support.
