The Victorian Government has launched Get Active Victoria, a new initiative to inspire all of us to move more, every day.

You’ll find new ideas to move more around home on the Get Active Victoria website—it’s free and available every day of the year. Try a Pilates workout, get grooving with a hip hop routine, or take a challenge. See how you stack up against Australian cricket hero Meg Lanning or AFLW star Daisy Pearce. Meg and Daisy have each created a challenge just for Get Active Victoria!

The Get Active Victoria website is a great resource for people to get active around home at a time that works for them. Workouts are for all levels, range from 10 to 30 minutes, and minimal or no equipment is needed. Participants can choose from strength building, cardio, yoga, dance and more. There are also fun activities to do with the whole family, and tips and advice to be active safely and stay motivated.

The website also features an activity tracker so you can monitor how much activity you’re doing each day, and you can create a team online. Get Active Victoria is great way to connect with family and friends, support each other and inspire others to get involved.

With such a broad range of physical activities on offer, being active doesn't have to be boring. Try something different, like an Afro dance workout or a traditional Indigenous game. Videos will be added every fortnight, so there is always something new.
