Tourette Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder characterised by involuntary motor movements and verbalisation called tics. It us usually inherited and is more prevalent in males. It can occur between the ages of 2 and 21 and lasts throughout life. TS is not degenerative and people with TS can expect to live a normal life span.
