Accidents and injuries ... all about

Page content: Emergency contacts and services | First aid | Seek medical attention

Prepare for accidents and emergencies. First aid knowledge is essential at home, on the farm, and in the workplace. Always seek medical care as soon as possible, especially for serious injury, accidents involving children and for people who have asthma attacks.

Emergency contacts and services

Emergency numbers should be kept up to date. Make sure you know who to call in a crisis and when to call an ambulance if someone is injured or in need of expert care.

First aid

First aid skills can save lives. Learn about first aid for bites, stings, cuts, needlestick injury and head injuries.

Seek medical attention

Always seek medical help for serious injuries, severe pain, burns, heart problems, asthma attacks, poisonings and whenever you are unsure.
