Q: My daughter complains of stomach-ache after eating lunch each day and also of headache. It does not stop her playing. Should I be worried? (Female, 7)

A:

In all situations in which a child is complaining of recurrent pain, I would always recommend a check-up by your GP or a health professional you know and trust.

The symptoms and situation you describe may not sound threatening, and it is very good that they do not stop her playing and enjoying herself, but I suggest she needs a check-up to make sure that everything is OK.
